Responsibilities

  • Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Receptionist to greet patients, visitors, and staff at our front desk.
  • Greet and assist all visitors; check in patients for assessment; answer the switchboard and route calls appropriately.
  • Maintain the facility census book; accept and direct incoming deliveries; process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Provide clerical support as requested; keep A&R forms stocked; maintain the appearance of the lobby and triage rooms.
  • Provide data processing services for the facility, including entering patient admissions, A&R calls, discharges, and physician/bed/unit transfers.
  • Assist with various clerical duties and projects as assigned.
  • Shift: 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has been providing quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services since 1980. This 151-bed facility is located on 10 acres near the foothills of Idaho. Qualifications
  • Education:
    High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment; any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
