Admissions Assistant​/Call Center Specialist

Responsibilities

• Admissions Assistant/Call Center Specialist to assess potential patients for admission. Handle admissions calls and unplanned walk-ins with compassion, empathy, a sense of service and urgency. Ensure each person receives an appropriate assessment by ADMISSIONS or referral. Thorough and accurate documentation of calls and related admissions paperwork is a critical component of the job.
• Shift: 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Saturday through Tuesday.

• Education: High School Graduate required; bachelor's degree in social services field preferred.
• Experience: Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population preferred.
