Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will work within our Partial Hospitalization Program for adolescents ages 12-17. The Mental Health Specialist will work closely with a team of Psychiatrists, Mental Health Therapists, and a School Teacher providing support in a group therapy setting.
Responsibilities- Support adolescents in the Partial Hospitalization Program (ages 12-17) in a group therapy setting.
- Provide 1:1 support within group activities to help participants understand the curriculum and fully participate in treatment.
- Monitor physical and emotional well-being of participants.
- Assist patients in participating in recreational activities and group therapy activities.
- Collaborate with team members including Psychiatrists, Mental Health Therapists, and a School Teacher.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree - Experience:
2 years of relevant experience - Licenses/Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
