Terry Reilly Health Services (TRHS) is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT) to join our team!

TRHS recognizes the need for increased behavioral health services in our community, including individual, family and group counseling. As a teaching institution, we provide regular in-house trainings and a generous continuing education package for external trainings. We regularly consult with our clients' TRHS medical and psychiatric providers to provide the best care possible.
Role ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will provide evidence-based treatment, intervention, and prevention services to juveniles who sexually act out or juvenile sexual offenders, their families, and the community. The position requires a thorough understanding of psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders. You will develop a respectful, engaging, and motivational teaching relationship with assigned youth and/or parents or guardians; provide prosocial skills training; and utilize psycho-educational programming to build youths' prosocial motivations, beliefs, and skills.
The overall goal of family work is to improve the quality of relationships between parent/guardian and youth and/or parent support or parent educational groups.
You will work a flexible schedule Monday - Friday (including at least two evenings).
RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare Criminal Background Check
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
- Current professional license in the State of Idaho (LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT)
- Obtain certification by oversight agencies where appropriate
- Work experience or specialized training in sexual and familial abuse
- Work a flexible work schedule, including evenings
- Transport self to offices in Ada and Canyon Counties
- Good speech and oral presentation skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with marginalized populations
- Valid LCSW or LCPC or equivalent license in the state of Idaho
- Certification from the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) for juvenile specific treatment
- Familiarity with electronic health record database programs, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system process, agencies, and systems theory
- Advanced training and experience in the field of trauma and abuse
- Familiarity with State of Idaho Health and Welfare system
