Financial Reporting Manager - 1099 Contract Role - 100% onsite in Boise,
THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with a growing global organization to hire an experienced Financial Reporting Manager for a 1099-contract opportunity. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who excels in financial consolidation, GAAP reporting, and working across domestic and international operations.
EssentialJob Duties:
- Oversee the timely completion of the monthly worldwide financial consolidation process in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the company's Excel-based consolidation and internal reporting tools, including data uploads from multiple ERP systems and financial mapping for reporting against budget and prior year.
- Research and interpret GAAP and other authoritative accounting guidance, monitoring regulatory changes and recommending policy updates as needed.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls related to the financial reporting process and recommend improvements when necessary.
- Support acquisition activities with a focus on purchase accounting for both U.S. and international acquisitions.
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors, tax advisors, statutory reporting requirements, and external auditors.
- Manage reporting of pro forma adjustments and addbacks for board and banking reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with Finance and IT leadership on the implementation of a financial consolidation system and Net Suite ERP solution.
- Support key financial initiatives including working capital improvement efforts and cost analysis projects.
- Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Assist in managing the external audit process and help ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
- Perform additional duties and financial projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly financial consolidations and foreign currency translation
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools such as Net Suite or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling and large data analysis
- Experience working in a multi-entity domestic and international organization preferred
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred
Schedule:
- 3 to 6-month contract assignment (1099 contract)
- Pay is $51/hr. to $65/hr., depending on experience and qualifications
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday - standard business hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm with flexibility on start and end times) - Location:
100% onsite in Boise,
