The Circle Internship Program is a 12‑week, remote‑first experience running from May 26 to August 14, 2026, designed to give interns hands‑on experience building the future of global finance. Interns work on meaningful, real‑world projects that support Circle’s mission to enable the frictionless exchange of value.
The program includes three in‑person experiences designed to deepen learning and connection:
- Circle Forward Week in Miami
- Development Week in San Francisco
- Final Showcase Week at Circle’s New York City HQ in One World Trade Center
Throughout the summer, interns are supported by managers, mentors, and a close‑knit cohort, with opportunities for learning, growth, and exposure to leaders across the company.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForThe Treasury Execution and Digital Operations team is responsible for the day‑to‑day management, risk mitigation, and operational oversight of Circle’s digital asset activities. You’ll support Circle’s Treasury Execution team in conducting financial due diligence on banking partners, evaluating capital impacts from our digital asset activity, and assessing emerging on‑chain capital markets solutions. Through close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders and AI‑enhanced workflows, you’ll help deliver insights that drive operational efficiency, capital optimisation, and strategic decision‑making.
WhatYou’ll Work On
- Supporting the design and operationalisation of trading and custody workflows for digital assets
- Conducting due diligence assessments on banking partners
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to evaluate onboarding and downstream operational processes
- Leveraging and enhancing AI tools to support risk assessments, data analysis, and executive reportingi>
- Analyzing capital impacts related to custody, minting controls, and operational design
- Documenting capital implications and recommending process improvements to optimise efficiency and reduce risk
What You’ll Bring to Circle
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets and productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when working with financial or operational data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarise findings for executive audiences
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple macOS and GSuite
- Exposure to financial services, capital markets, or digital asset ecosystems through coursework or internships
- Interest in Web3, tokenised financial products, or digital custody solutions
