CPQ Developer

Western Trailers has been building custom semi-trailers for over 50 years. As we continue modernizing our systems and manufacturing processes, we are seeking a CPQ Developer to help integrate our engineering, sales, and production workflows.

This role sits at the intersection of software development and manufacturing systems
. The CPQ Developer will help build and maintain configuration tools that enable our team to design and quote custom trailers efficiently while ensuring information flows correctly into production.

• Develop and maintain CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) tools that support trailer configuration and order processing
• Work with Engineering, Production Control, and Manufacturing teams to understand product options and system requirements
• Help integrate CPQ systems with our ERP and internal production systems
• Build configuration logic, templates, diagrams, and tools that support product configuration
• Analyze current order and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Support users of the CPQ system and assist with troubleshooting or enhancements

• Experience working with SQL or database queries
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as BOMs, routing, or production workflows
• Ability to think through complex product configurations and system logic
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Experience with CPQ or product configuration systems
• Experience integrating systems with ERP platforms
• Background in manufacturing, engineering systems, or industrial software
