Engineering Technician _USD

Our client, a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking an Engineering Technician 2_USD to join their team. As an Engineering Technician 2_USD, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting product testing, equipment setup, and prototype assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technician 2_USD

Location: Boise,

• Support engineering activities such as equipment setup, product testing, and check-out procedures.
• Modify and assemble prototype electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and determining methods to remedy malfunctions.
• Utilize manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.

• 3-5 years of technical work experience in relevant fields.
• Proficiency in working from schematics, diagrams, and written/verbal descriptions.
• Experience with analog, digital, and video circuits and logic systems is preferred.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and fault isolation effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
