In the position of ME FS Equipment Manager, you will be instrumental in directing the installation and qualification of fab tools. You will supervise a team of proficient equipment owners, encouraging continuous advancement and sustaining the highest levels of safety and quality. Your leadership will be essential in improving tool functionality and limiting downtime, ensuring our leading edge in semiconductor manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Guide local equipment owners in the setup and qualification of fab tools, ensuring seamless performance.
- Drive a proactive safety culture, completing all required safety training and adhering to safety policies.
- Partner with PDE, ODE, IE, and suppliers to develop effective plans, resolve tool problems, and improve tool availability.
- Analyze data to make critical decisions, support troubleshooting, and drive cost reduction activities.
- Manage projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule, and budget.
- 2+ years of Semiconductor/Manufacturing with previous leadership experience. Established capability to direct and manage technical teams in reaching department targets.
- Strong partnering, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Advanced understanding of fab process areas and related equipment.
- Advanced PC skills, including MS Office, MICAP, Ariba, and MAXIMO.
- Minimum A.A.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology and 4 years of fab engineering experience.
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated skill in conveying complex technical information to varied audiences.
- Ability to coordinate teams and projects efficiently with a thoughtful approach to challenges.
- Knowledge of main utility systems supplied by the Facilities group.
- Experience in data analysis and root cause identification.
