Senior CMP Equipment Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior CMP Equipment Engineer to join their team. As a Senior CMP Equipment Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the semiconductor production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior CMP Equipment Engineer

Location: Boise, Idaho

Pay Range: $90,000 - $150,000

What's the Job?

• Install and qualify industry-leading CMP equipment in our new cleanroom environment.
• Analyze equipment performance data, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document findings.
• Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related production challenges.
• Manage projects to address hardware gaps and improve equipment efficiency.
• Develop and maintain productive vendor relationships to ensure optimal equipment performance and support.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience working as an Equipment Owner with chemical mechanical planarization (CMP).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training, including potential training in Taiwan.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
