Operations Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
The Senior Document Controller is responsible for helping establish and supporting quality document management systems processes, collecting and analyzing data to provide support to the company Quality Management System. Creates, formats, edits, organizes, and monitors all company-controlled documentation across all business units. Works to ensure that all company required policies, plans, manuals, operating procedures, work instructions, and any other support documentation is maintained and aligned with company standards as well as ISO guidelines.
Location& Travel Details
You can be based in any city or state in the U.S.. This is a traveling, project based position, up to 90% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You’ll spend 8-18 months on average per project. We offer designated per diem in addition to an excellent base salary to support and help you cover living expenses.
This position is eligible for mobilization support (may include mileage reimbursement), and includes one longer weekend every four weeks for additional time at home.

Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a quality management system compliant with regulatory, quality, company, and customer (both internal and external) requirements.
- Responsible for the creation and management of all document control projects and planning. Provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization and requirements.
- Responsible for document change control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely implementation of change requests and change control request orders.
- Regulates the change process, so that only approved and qualified/verified changes are incorporated into released product documentation.
- Support audits (internal and external) to verify that quality and regulatory requirements have been met.
- Review, recommend, and revise organizational business policies to achieve compliance with records information management policies, goals, and objectives.
- Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
- Regularly performs data entry, formatting as required by Quality management.
- Manages document storage and records retention programs, and is intimately familiar with record retention guidelines, with the ability to monitor on a regular basis to ensure proper disposition of physical and digital records.
- Ability to be proactive about classification of documentation, orderly preservation, and continuous improvement.
- Create, follow through with, and take responsibility for multiple action plans with limited support.
- Identify and report documentation gaps identified as required by policy at various levels.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
