• Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g., soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel).
• Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors regarding site conditions, testing requirements, and results.
• Transport material samples with proper documentation to the laboratory for analysis.
• Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites.
• Adhere to strict safety standards, performing pre‑task planning, and reporting safety concerns.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observation duties under close supervision.
• Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicate information to the Project Manager and discuss dispo accuracy of data in preparation for submission.
• Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Progressively take on training and increased responsibility in work assignments.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Drive a vehicle such as a Ford F‑150 or equivalent.
• Follow safety rules and practices for all projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

• Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.

• Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
