• The pay for this position is between $48.20 - $51.88 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 8-hour shifts
• Onsite position (Boise, )
• This position is a Contract role

• Perform design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems.
• Support development of new hardware products and updates to existing products, including SSD-related or similar technologies.
• Conduct electrical lab bench testing , spending approximately 60–75% of time hands-on in the lab.
• Set up test systems, define test configurations, and execute hardware characterization and validation testing .
• Review schematics and translate designs into effective test setups.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues independently and document findings and resolutions.
• Apply knowledge of switching regulators, LDOs, and power systems to testing and analysis.
• Utilize Linux command-line tools and Python scripting to support testing, data collection, and automation.
• Develop, execute, and document testing routines, procedures, and results .
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to cross-functional engineering teams (20–30% of role).
• Contribute to project plans, schedules, and engineering documentation as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3–4 years of relevant experience , OR approximately 6 years of equivalent experience without a degree
• 3–4 years of electrical lab bench testing experience required
• Strong hands-on experience with hardware characterization and debugging
• Proficiency with Linux command-line environments
• Experience using Python for testing, scripting, or automation
• Ability to review schematics and independently define test setups
• Solid understanding of power systems, switching regulators, and LDOs
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
• Ability to work independently , take ownership of tasks, and function as a self-starter
• Must be able to work onsite in Boise and be physically present in the lab
• Experience working with SSD hardware or storage-related technologies
• Background functioning in a role similar to a highly skilled engineering technician
• Experience introducing new test methods or improving existing lab processes
