Mid-Level Electrical Engineer – Power & Energy Team, WSP, U.S.
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ (Additional locations: Seattle, WA; Hailey, ; Boise, ; Overland Park, KS; Atlanta, GA; Oradell, NJ; Houston, TX)
Responsibilities- Lead and support electrical design of power generation projects.
- Lead and support electrical design of renewable energy projects.
- Lead and support electrical design of power plant and switchyard upgrades.
- Lead and support electrical design of federal system upgrades.
- Mentor and teach junior engineers.
- Develop project proposals and budgets.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company resources and conduct, adhering to WSP’s Code of Conduct.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience.
- 3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design experience.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Proficiency with CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software.
- Track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Ability to work schedules that may extend beyond a typical workweek.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Professional Licensure/Certification.
- Previous experience leading a group of engineers.
- 3+ years of detailed design in generating facilities and/or substations.
- 3+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations.

CompensationExpected Salary (all locations): $73,100 – $125,400. WSP reserves the right to adjust compensation based on experience and location.
