Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager – Boise, Idaho
Shape the Future of Water InfrastructureAre you a driven and experienced water/wastewater professional looking for your next big opportunity? AE2S is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact water and wastewater projects across the region. Join a team that is passionate about delivering cutting‑edge solutions and meaningful infrastructure improvements for communities across the country.
Responsibilities- Serve as a technical guide, senior leader, and mentor for junior engineers within the Wastewater Practice.
- Perform a variety of roles within project delivery (project management, QA/QC, and performing) as they relate to wastewater.
- Be responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring, and adherence for projects managed to provide extreme client services and build lasting relationships.
- Grow market and technical presence within the region through client pursuits, building relationships, providing client management, identifying opportunities, and supporting competitive proposal pursuits.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 15+ years of consulting experience in wastewater treatment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development.
- Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team members.
- Prior project management experience.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Proven client relationships.
- Knowledge of design standards and permitting.
- Knowledge of Colorado funding programs.
- Ability to walk up to 3 miles on uneven terrain.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight; may require lifting up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or defects.
- May require wearing personal protection equipment (PPE) including flame‑resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear.
- May require occasional evenings and weekends; overtime expectations vary with workload.
- May require travel to off‑site locations, including occasional overnight stays out of town.
