Part-Time Floating Assistant Teacher

Primrose School of North Meridian is looking for caring, reliable Part‑Time Floating Assistant Teachers to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working with children of all ages in a supportive, high‑quality early learning environment.

As a floating assistant, you’ll support multiple classrooms and work with children ranging from 6 weeks through 5 years old, all while maintaining low teacher‑to‑child ratios.

• Monday‑Friday
• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• $14–$17 per hour, based on experience
• Consistent weekday schedule with no nights or weekends
• Low classroom ratios
• Paid training and ongoing support
• A positive, professional, and team‑focused work environment

• Assist in classrooms across different age groups as needed
• Support daily routines, activities, and classroom management
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, teachers, and families
• Follow all school policies and state licensing requirements

• Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements
• Experience in early childhood education preferred, but not required
• A positive attitude and flexibility to work with various age groups
• Dependable, caring, and team‑oriented
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
