Daycare Toddler Teacher Aide

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as an Aide Daycare Teacher in a 1-year-old class at A Child's Heart. You will be provided with a curriculum.

• Childcare Worker s License associated Costs
• Appleton Clinic- ACH covers 80% of the cost after 90 days for full-time staff
• Reimbursement for gym membership up to $30.00 after 90 days for full-time staff
• Childcare Discount of 50% for all staff members

• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
• Track children s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children s background and psyche
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

• Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education is a bonus but not required

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

We provide care for children ages 6 weeks up to 12 years old, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We are one of the highest-rated childcare providers in Boise. Our teachers base their monthly lesson plans on a preschool curriculum called ABC Jesus Loves Me, designed for ages 2-5.

Teachers are encouraged to plan field trips, request supplies needed for classroom and curriculum purposes, and participate in the annual Christmas Program. Schedules can be flexible, and we offer both full-time and part-time positions. Each new hire undergoes training and ongoing daily support to collaborate and grow in the role.
