We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions. • Conduct thorough patient consultations and medical examinations.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results related to cardiovascular health.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with heart conditions.
• Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on heart disease prevention and management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology treatments and technologies.

• Medical degree with specialization in Cardiology.
• Valid state medical license and board certification in Cardiology.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.
• Flexibility to adapt to different clinical settings and patient populations.

Schedule:

24-hour call shifts

Setting:
Inpatient

Level II trauma

Facility: 18 ICU beds, 18 tele beds, 10 CMU beds

Daily Census: 3 consults, 2 procedures

Procedures: TEEs, balloon pumps, coronary stems, IVs, IFR

Support Staff: APPs

Board certification required
