Status: PRN
Schedule: PRN rotation of responsibilities including clinic, operating room, inpatient rounding, and PA call coverage. The PA team consists of seven providers.
Call: PRN coverage of group call as needed, including nights and weekends.

Practice Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 500+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a certified advanced practice provider (PA-C) to manage orthopedic trauma patients in collaboration with orthopedic trauma surgeons. The role involves direct clinical management using approved protocols, consultation, and close work with the Orthopedic Trauma Medical Director and trauma team to evaluate trauma patients, provide management directives, and oversee inpatient orthopedic fractures.
The PA will also participate in the operating room and outpatient clinics.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive assessment skills, clinical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented approach to patient care. Candidates must hold a valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA, and have prior surgical and/or critical care experience in a hospital setting.
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) is a Level II Trauma Center with over 1,250 trauma cases annually, primarily blunt trauma, with a trauma surgical team on call. It is the main provider of trauma and critical care services in the region.
Requirements: Successful completion of a Masters-level PA program, NCCPA certification, current Idaho medical license, valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA, with preference given to those with current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
