Our specialized perioperative clinic is staffed by internal medicine hospitalists and APPs who:
- Assess perioperative risk and optimize chronic medical conditions before surgery
- Perform appropriate risk stratification when needed
- Provide patients with education to reduce complications and improve outcome
This approach has led to fewer same-day cancellations, streamlined anesthesia care, and better patient experiences.
Position Highlights:
- 10 hour clinic shifts, 1-2 shifts per week
- Ideal for hospitalists, outpatient internal medicine, or family practice physicians
- Excellent fit for early career physicians seeking predictable schedules or late career physicians looking to scale back

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
MD/DO from accredited medical school - BC/BE
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
- Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke's Health System, Eligibility to obtain
