Overview
This four-surgeon orthopedic hand and upper extremity practice is looking for a full-time accredited fellowship trained BE/BC orthopedic hand surgeon. We offer the opportunity to join the only hand surgery group in our service area. The Idaho Hand Center physicians are well established and respected in the community and are looking to add a new partner to our growing practice.
Located near downtown Boise, Idaho, our single location practice includes in-house hand therapy and two in suite treatment rooms. Our practices are busy, with an excellent mix of patients. We work in a collegial atmosphere with high caliber support staff.
We remain an independent practice.
Boise is a beautiful city with four distinct seasons. The Boise River bisects the city and surrounding suburbs. An accompanying Greenbelt stretches for over twenty miles (from Lucky Peak Reservoir in the east to Eagle, Idaho in the west) adjacent to the river banks. Outdoor activities abound, with a ski resort 16 miles north of downtown, Sun Valley located 150 miles to the east, and McCall and Cascade 90 miles to the north.
Foothills north of the city provide a unique setting for mountain biking, hiking, and running.
Boise is a great place to raise a family; there are excellent public and private school options (K-12). There are many academic and athletic activities available to children of all ages. Boise boasts its Fine Arts experiences: the Philharmonic, opera, ballet/dance troupe, several theatre groups including an outdoor summer Shakespeare Festival, and other entertainment opportunities.
We have the BLUE TURF! Boise State University, a research based university system enrolling 22,000+ students and a supportive business culture and community fan base consistently fill the 36,000 seat Bronco Stadium.
