Assistant Superintendent - Construction (Wastewater Focus)

Service Point is seeking highly motivated Assistant Superintendents to support construction, installation, and commissioning activities across wastewater and general construction infrastructure projects
. This role is ideal for candidates looking to advance into senior superintendent or project management roles within complex construction environments.

The Assistant Superintendent will assist senior leadership in coordinating field operations, overseeing subcontractors, ensuring installation quality, enforcing safety standards, and driving project schedules. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed with precision, compliance, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily on-site supervision of wastewater and general construction projects
  • Coordinate activities of technicians, subcontractors, and trades to maintain schedule and workflow
  • Assist with site readiness, pre-task planning, and tracking day-to-day operational progress
  • Verify work is performed per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Help maintain project schedules and update leadership on progress, delays, and risks

    Document work activities, material usage, and installation completion
  • Participate in site meetings, walkthroughs, and progress reporting
  • Assist with redlines, as-built documentation, and field markups
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure installations meet engineering specifications
  • Ensure adherence to construction standards, best practices, and safety requirements
  • Support enforcement of OSHA and company safety programs
  • Coordinate installation of mechanical, electrical, and civil components in partnership with subcontractors
  • Support infrastructure buildouts including site utilities, equipment foundations, conduit, piping, and system integration
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in wastewater or general construction environments
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Construction processes, sequencing, and site safety practices
    • Mechanical, electrical, and civil infrastructure components
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation specifications
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environments with tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting or supervising crews in the field
  • Familiarity with wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, or utility infrastructure
  • Knowledge of relevant construction codes and standards
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with documentation tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, MS Office)
