Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the preconstruction phase, from conceptualization to project initiation, ensuring seamless transition from preconstruction to construction. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial working environment.
  • Leads and manages the preconstruction process, including design management, budget control, and procurement.
  • Collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans and strategies.
  • Conducts thorough analysis and evaluation of project scopes, requirements, and specifications to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Utilizes value engineering techniques to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to preconstruction staff, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
  • Stays current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in preconstruction methodologies, technologies, and materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within the industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering preconstruction services for complex projects of varying scope and scale.
  • Expertise in means & methods, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
