Boise based accounting office needs assistance with general office duties. Preference will be given to individuals with Microsoft Office knowledge, Accounting and Tax preparation experience.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Scan and copy client files and assemble packets to be returned to the client
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Entry into Quick Books online and desktop
  • Preparation of individual tax returns for federal and state agencies
Experience
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, Word in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Skills
  • Proficient in phone systems, including transferring calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments
  • Ability to file documents accurately and maintain an organized filing system
  • Transcription skills for taking notes during meetings or dictation from supervisors
  • Familiarity with clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, etc.
  • Prefer Experience using Quick Books or other accounting software for basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Strong data entry skills for inputting information into spreadsheets or databases accurately
  • Organizational skills to keep track of multiple tasks, deadlines, and appointments simultaneously
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours:
No less than 20 per week

Schedule

Flexible start and end time schedule - 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday to Friday

Work Location:

In person not remote
