What You Can Expect

Oversees and safeguards the integrity of the St. Luke’s Health Foundation’s donor and prospect database, along with all associated data to advance philanthropic objectives.

  • Manage, enter, audit, and maintain highly detailed and sensitive donor, prospect, gift, and grateful‑patient data, including ongoing data clean‑up to support database integrity and campaign readiness.
  • Process and receipt gifts accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely acknowledgment and a strong donor experience.
  • Monitor data integrity, security, and appropriate handling of sensitive information, including adherence to applicable privacy expectations.
  • Build and optimize queries, exports, dashboards, and ad‑hoc reports to support fundraising strategy, finance needs, and operational decision‑making.
  • Extract, analyze, and present data with precision to answer routine and complex business questions.
  • Champion database and gift‑processing best practices by developing SOPs, training colleagues, and maximizing system functionality.
  • Provide support for mailings, donor recognition, and Foundation events, including occasional set‑up/tear‑down and evening or weekend work.
  • Potential travel within Idaho to support regional Foundation activities.
Who You Are
  • Meticulous, analytical, and highly committed to accuracy in data entry, reporting, and record management.
  • Experienced with CRM/database systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred) and comfortable working in complex, detail‑intensive environments.
  • Familiar with gift processing and donor and/or patient data management, ideally in a fundraising or healthcare setting.
  • A collaborative, service‑oriented problem solver who contributes positively to team outcomes and continuous improvement efforts.
  • An effective communicator with a warm, professional phone presence and strong written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods while maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • Proficient in reporting and data tools and able to identify and resolve data anomalies efficiently.
  • Knowledgeable about confidentiality and sensitive data handling; awareness of HIPAA/PHI considerations in healthcare philanthropy is preferred.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and partner across fundraising, finance, and related teams.

    Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
