Schedule: Part‑time (15‑20 hours per week), Monday – Friday between 9am – 1pm
The Office Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day office operations. This part‑time, entry‑level role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, dependable, and looking to gain experience in an office or administrative environment while working a reduced schedule.
- Greet and assist visitors; maintain a professional front‑office environment
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls and emails
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages
- Assist with filing, scanning, document organization, and data entry
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with coordination of team meetings, trainings, or small office events
- Ensure common areas (lobby, kitchen, conference rooms) are clean, organized and stocked
- Support onboarding tasks such as preparing paperwork or workstation setup
- Update spreadsheets, shared drives, and internal databases with accurate information
- Assist with vendor communication, service requests, and office maintenance needs
- Help maintain internal checklists, procedures, and office documentation
- Provide general administrative assistance to team members and departments
- Draft basic correspondence, notes, or internal communications
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
- Perform other related duties as assigned, in compliance with applicable laws and consistent with the essential functions of the role
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Professional demeanor with a positive, customer‑service‑focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
- Ability to sit, stand, or move throughout the office during scheduled hours
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
