Your Next Opportunity
The Project Assistant is responsible for providing project management support to the Project team. This position may include general administrative support.
What You'll Do- Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCOs).
- Price up material vouchers.
- Write up and keep track of all Request for Information (RFIs).
- Track certified payroll for Rosendin and all subcontractors, filling out required forms (e.g., HRC forms, OCIP compliance).
- Update project schedules on Microsoft Project or Sure Track.
- Monthly billing (Schedule of Values/Cover sheet).
- Create and update material flow sheets (e.g., fixtures and fire alarm devices; subcontract/Change Order logs; submittal logs).
- Obtain vendor quotes and handle light material ordering.
- Perform other duties as assigned by business unit.
- Knowledge and ability to read blueprints and use Biddle Book for materials and pricing, along with project management procedures and scheduling software.
- Computer, filing, and 10‑key skills.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and follow‑up skills.
- High level of discretion and interpersonal skills for handling confidential matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Sure Track, Oracle and SharePoint preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.);
Oracle preferred. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, effective team player.
- Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.
- Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of project management support experience, preferably in construction.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience acceptable.

- General work environment: sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; primarily indoors with lighting and air conditioning.
- Noise level low to medium; may be loud on a job site.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
