Accountant - Senior Accountant, Family Office; Balance

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting functions for the Family Office, including preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and tax filings.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with asset management teams to support investment-related accounting tasks and reporting requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial reports.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices within asset management and family office sectors.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the asset management industry or licensed corporations.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
