Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Staff Accountant based in the Boise Metropolitan Area. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and assisting in the preparation of budgets. Other responsibilities include maintaining compliance with accounting standards, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting audits. Collaboration with other team members and departments will be essential to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficiency.
Qualifications- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget preparation
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with experience meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining it is preferred
- Previous work experience in healthcare or post-acute care environments is a plus
