Over the years, Glenn Wayne has grown from a small neighborhood bakery into a large-scale commercial producer with a 40,000-square-foot facility and a 6,000-square-foot warehouse, serving local, regional, and national customers. In 2024, Glenn Wayne Bakery was acquired by Tide Rock, a San Diego–based buyout firm that supports the company’s next phase of growth while preserving its legacy of quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Follow plant and OSHA Safety Policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. Maintain an awareness of plant environmental standards. Takes corrective action to address minor problems or reports compliance issues to the Maintenance Facility Manager for resolution.
  • Follows oral or written instructions and work assignments. Completes checklists and work orders as required. Maintains records and logs of preventive electrical maintenance activities on the CMMS system.
  • Maintains general cleanliness of work areas and Maintenance shop. Maintains all tools and equipment used on the job in good working order.
  • Ability to work extended hours and irregular schedules.
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as individually, on complex issues.
  • Preventative maintenance on Production and supporting equipment.
  • Uses standard hand tools, instruments and power tools as required.
  • Read electrical and electronic schematics basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Reads equipment manuals to determine work procedures and diagnose problems.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, diagnose, replace and maintain electrical motors and motor controllers including starters push buttons, relays, control transformers, magnetic starters, VFD, electrical controls, apparatus, electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • System knowledge of HMI and PLC control systems.
