Generator Sales Expert

Role Description

This is a full-time both on-site and, in the field, position located in Bohemia, NY. As a Generator Sales Expert at POWERPRO SERVICE CO INC., you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through the process of selecting the best generator solutions for their needs. Key responsibilities include conducting in-field site visits, managing company supplied leads, developing relationships with contractors, electricians, property managers and other trades that lead to self-generated leads, presenting generator features and benefits effectively, provide timely and effective proposals, over-coming objections, handling sales transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

• Excellent Communication skills to convey product details clearly and effectively
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Prior experience in a sales role is required
• Familiarity with generator products and related technologies is a plus
• Some college and/or trade school preferred; additional education in sales or electrical and/or mechanical fields is advantageous
• Experience with CRM tools
• Must have reliable transportation and the willingness to meet with leads/potential clients in the evenings, early morning or weekends as required.
