Job Overview

We are an Integrative health & wellness medical office that is rapidly growing and evolving to meet our patients needs and concerns. Our Patients overall health and well being is our motivation to provide the best care possible. We provide non-steroidal, non-invasive acute pain management treatments, medical massage therapy, IV hydration and vitamin supplementation, Male and Female Hormone Therapy, peptide therapy, weight-loss therapies, Aesthetic treatments, with the addition of new modalities to come!

Requirements

We're looking for highly motivated individuals who are eager to utilize their skills in a face paced, multi-facet environment. 1+ years experience as Medical Assistant with current certs. or New Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant Program.

Responsibilities

CLINICAL DUTIES:

  • Verify patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, prescription history and confirming purpose of visit.
  • Communication skills, including the ability to listen to and interpret patient concerns accurately and further reporting and discussing with the providers.
  • Obtaining Vitals, performing venipuncture, administration of IM/SQ injections.
  • Assisting providers with procedures and treatments.
  • Preparation of medications, constituting and drawing.
  • Basic understanding of metabolic function and skeletal system.

NON-CLINICAL DUTIES:

  • Chart-prep.
  • Prior-Authorizations for medications (EPA and Phone Initiated).
  • Documentation (inputting information/documents into patient charts).
  • Patient phone calls.
  • Prepping and Drawing Medications pre-shift and during shift.

Weekend availability.

Flexibility to travel to more than one location.

Education
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • Associate (Preferred)
Experience
  • EMR systems: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Vital signs: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Phlebotomy - certification not required, experience preferred, willing to train for skill building.
  • EKG- certification not required, experience preferred, willing to train for skill building.
  • PFT - experience preferred, willing to train for skill building.
  • UA - experience preferred, willing to train for skill building.
License/Certification
  • CCMA / CMA Certification (Preferred)
