Quality Engineer- (Aerospace

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in the aerospace industry to join our client,
Collins Aerospace
, at their onsite location in Bohemia, NY. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in aerospace quality systems, root-cause methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Apply strong working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and lead Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies
• Review, evaluate, and authorize returned materials from customers
• Develop, update, and maintain quality documentation
  , SOPs, and procedures
• Gather, analyze, and interpret quality data from production, inspections, suppliers, and customer feedback
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards and reports
• Utilize Advanced Excel and data analytics tools for reporting and analysis

• 3 to 5 years of aerospace domain experience (required)
• Strong understanding of AS9100 standards
• Excellent problem-solving

• Experience with NCR

  , and RCA tools
• Hands-on skills in Advanced Excel and analytics platforms
