SummaryThe Qualification Test Technician possesses knowledge of industry test standards and the associated environmental and electromagnetic interference methods. They are responsible for testing, data collection, and communication of data to the engineering staff and management.
Responsibilities- Supervise outside laboratory tests.
- Plan and conduct test methods in accordance with military and commercial standards for confidence.
- Ensure proper operation of test equipment to adhere to company procedures.
- Collect data in an organized manner that can be presented to customers and management.
- Assist in creating cable test harnesses and support equipment.
- Work with engineering staff to assist in diagnosis and repair of failed production items.
- Perform ESS testing on overflow production items.
- Take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status. Some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment.
- ASEE or ASME preferred.
- 2+ years related experience in a Test environment.
- Proficient in use of a computer and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Basic understanding of Military and Commercial standards (I.E. MIL-STD-461/810 or RTCA/DO-160G).
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things.

- Working knowledge of wiring and general purpose hand-tools.
