We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Payable Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing high-volume receivables and processing invoices efficiently. As this is a long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate billing and cash application processes for our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Manage invoice processing tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee cash application activities to maintain proper allocation of payments.
- Perform commercial collections to recover outstanding balances effectively.
- Coordinate billing functions to ensure invoices are generated and sent promptly.
- Monitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Utilize specialized systems tailored for manufacturing industries to support financial operations.
- Prepare regular reports on receivables and payables for management review.
- Maintain organized financial records to support audits and compliance requirements.
Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable and payable functions.
- Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application processes.
- Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice management.
- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions efficiently.
- Proficiency in utilizing financial systems, especially those designed for manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external clients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate and accessible financial records.
