Training & Development Officer

Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating employee training and development programs to support organizational growth, improve employee skills, and ensure alignment with company goals.

• Identify training needs by consulting with department heads and analyzing performance gaps.
• Develop annual training plans based on organizational objectives and employee competency requirements.

• Design and develop training modules, materials, and schedules (both technical and soft skills).
• Ensure training content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with company culture and service standards.

• Organize and facilitate internal/external training programs, workshops, and on-the-job learning.
• Coordinate with external trainers, institutions, and vendors when needed.

• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, post-training evaluations, and performance improvements.
• Continuously improve training content and methods based on evaluation results.

• Support career pathing, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Encourage continuous learning and professional growth across all levels.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly reports on training activities and budgets.

• Assist in developing and managing the annual training budget.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in Training & Development or related HR function.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Familiar with training methods, learning management systems (LMS), and adult learning principles.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• (Preferred for F&B:) Knowledge of F&B operations and service standards is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Creative and proactive in learning methods.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
