Freelance Image Manipulation Specialist

We are seeking detail-oriented Image Editing Specialists to join a high-impact project creating AI training datasets. This is a freelance, remote role focused on high-quality image manipulation to improve the accuracy and realism of machine learning models. You will handle medium-complexity tasks ranging from object modification to visual attribute adjustments.

• Manual Image Editing: Execute precise in-painting, out-painting, and the addition, removal, or replacement of objects within images.
• Attribute Modification: Adjust visual elements such as color, texture, and shape to meet specific dataset requirements.
• Technical Techniques: Apply "onion skinning" and advanced layering where required to ensure frame-to-frame or image-to-image consistency.
• Quality & Consistency: Maintain strict visual consistency across large batches of edited images.
• Productivity & Standards: Meet daily productivity targets while following detailed technical guidelines and quality benchmarks.
• Self-QA: Perform rigorous self-review and quality assurance on all edited images before final submission.

• Extensive experience with professional photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, GIMP).
• Mastery of masking, retouching, and complex layering techniques.
• A solid understanding of image composition, lighting, and shadow work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow highly technical instructions without deviation.
• Proven ability to maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced, production-style environment.
• Nice to have:
  Prior experience with AI data labeling, annotation, or data-generation workflows.

A portfolio or work samples demonstrating your ability to perform seamless image manipulations.

This is a long-term freelance engagement.

The project is expected to run for approximately up to 12 months
, offering significant stability for a freelance role.

We expect a minimum dedication of 10 - 15 hours per week, and up to 50 hours per week. We are looking for partners who are interested in collaborating for periods ranging 1 to 12 months.
