is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth in our China corridor. The role focuses on sourcing and onboarding Indonesian businesses that make payments to China for imports, services, and workforce-related expenses.
You will work closely with clients to understand their transaction flows and provide suitable cross-border payment solutions. A strong understanding of Chinese business culture and experience dealing with China-based suppliers or partners will be critical to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with Indonesian companies that:
Import goods from China;
Pay suppliers or service providers in China;
Make salary or operational payments for employees or partners in China. - Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, trading companies, manufacturers, logistics firms, and service companies with China exposure.
- Understand client payment flows and propose suitable solutions for cross-border payments and payroll or service payments related to China.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities related to China–Indonesia trade and services.
- Prepare sales proposals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, compliance, finance) to ensure smooth onboarding and execution.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting using CRM or internal tools.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, networking events, and business forums.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Business development, sales, or account management.
- Exposure to cross-border trade, payments, logistics, import/export, or China-related business is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of Chinese business culture, including communication styles, relationship-building (guanxi).
- Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage (spoken preferred; reading/writing a plus but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with Trading houses and Manufacturing supply chains involving China.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with commission-based incentives.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Base Salary:
Rp 8 - 10 Mn per month (negotiable based on experience) - Commission:

- Existing network of clients or contacts dealing with China suppliers or services.
- Experience working with Chinese partners, suppliers, or employers.
- Background in fintech, remittance, payments, logistics, or trade services.
