Simply put. We are well-established commercial gardeners who are revolutionizing the grounds maintenance standards across the board throughout West Sussex. We know there is a shortage of Grounds Maintenance Operatives so we want to tell you a bit about us.

No, we are not another typical commercial Grounds Maintenance employer that treats staff like they are just a number. We’ve been doing things differently! We have built a team of 8 employees some of who have been with us since the very start who have stacks of wisdom experience and most importantly some great comradery which is the key to our happy workforce and most importantly our future success.

AT Christmas you can find us Go-Karting as a team and this year on the paintballing arena giving our employees a chance to shoot the boss!

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team and become a full-time Grounds Maintenance Operative. Have you got a keen eye for detail? Do you like the outdoors? Like to get stuck in? Even better if you have some experience but not essential we can train you up.

You will be available to work Monday to Friday from 7.00- 16.30 with a little flexibility relating to the seasonal element of the job role. If you’re up for overtime it's always available. Over Winter when it’s cold and wet we like to finish at 3.45 so everybody’s home before it's dark.

We are a mobile grounds maintenance team and can cover 3-5 sites a day so A Full UK driving license is essential even better if it’s clean

Because we work at schools a DBS check will be required but don’t worry we will get this sorted.

• Carry out Pedestrian/ Ride-on grass mowing to a high standard
• Use a strimmer /brush cutter to achieve the desired results
• Basic knowledge of Shrub/border maintenance
• Hedge cutting to client specifications
• Leaf Blowing/Collection in Autumn and winter
• Maintaining all machinery, vehicles and work equipment to a good working order
• Weed Spraying – If you don’t have your pesticide ticket PA6/PA1 will send you on a training course to get you up to speed

£20,000 - £26,000 per annum + Bonus + Pension.
