Childrens Waking Night Support Worker

We are expanding our dedicated team and are looking for Waking Night Support Workersto join our nurturing childrens homes located in Bognor Regis, close to the train station. In this vital overnight role, you will provide stability, reassurance, and practical support to vulnerable young people, ensuring they feel safe, heard, and cared for throughout the night.

Hours:

21:30 08:30 Shift Pattern:4 nights on, 4 nights off OR part-time: 2 nights on, 4 nights off What Youll Be Doing Ensuring the safety, welfare, and comfort of young people during nighttime hours Providing emotional reassurance and responding calmly to challenging behaviours Carrying out essential household tasks to maintain a safe, welcoming environment Working closely with the daytime team to ensure smooth handovers and consistent care

What Were Looking For The ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged throughout the shift Resilience and patience.
