Job DescriptionThe Respiratory Assistant is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient equipment, sterilizing reusable equipment, assembling and calibrating ventilators and other respiratory devices, supervising and training respiratory aides, auditing charges and charting for accuracy, and ensuring the delivery of quality respiratory services. The Assistant utilizes resources efficiently, maintains stock in respiratory supply areas, and adheres to safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards to provide high-quality healthcare.
Minimum Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current student in an accredited respiratory program
