Position: REGISTERED NURSE (PRN)

We are seeking a positive, compassionate, customer service-focused team member for the Registered Nurse PRN position.

Job Summary

Provide quality nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, monitor nursing assistants, and provide assignments as needed. Complete admission paperwork for new residents, address resident and family concerns, and assist in oversight of care on the unit. Report issues to the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Follow individual health care plans; administer or supervise treatments prescribed by physicians.
  • Make rounds with residents, utilizing health care plans; document visits accurately and timely.
  • Supervise aides, assign duties, and monitor their work.
  • Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with the team.
  • Communicate professionally with resident families and respond to questions or concerns.
  • Supervise diet and fluid intake, report unresolved issues.
  • Prepare incident reports and complete assessments and discharge documentation accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Attend training and staff meetings as required.
