IT Project Manager, Systems Administrator

Position OverviewAs IT Director, you’ll lead CLE’s information technology operations and play a key role in supporting business performance and growth. You’ll oversee IT infrastructure, systems, and a small team, ensure security and reliability, and partner with leadership to align technology with strategic goals. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on leadership role in a Microsoft‑centric environment, ideal for a proactive leader with experience in field services, construction, or contracting industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including performance evaluations, training, and staffing decisions.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of hardware and software.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements or migrations (e.g., to cloud platforms).
- Collaborate with senior leadership and departments to identify technology needs and deliver solutions.
- Oversee help desk operations, project management, and timely resolution of IT issues.
- Monitor system performance, implement updates, and maintain documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of managing IT operations in a similar‑sized organization.
- Experience in the electrical, construction, contracting, or field services industries is a plus.
- Strong leadership, project management, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Certifications or equivalent work experience required.
- Microsoft/Azure certifications preferred.
