Project Coordinator - Industrial Painting Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with experience in industrial painting to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating, planning, and executing industrial painting projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of industrial painting projects from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment as needed for project completion.
  • Support the team in maintaining project timelines and addressing any potential delays proactively.
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a project coordination or management role, preferably within the industrial painting sector.
  • Strong understanding of industrial painting processes, materials, and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Coatings Inspector Certifications preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
