Bilingual Accounting Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Boerne, TX. This role is essential for overseeing the financial operations, managing cost accounting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a construction or manufacturing environment and be proficient in Quick Books Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage job project financials, including labor allocation and inventory management.
• Maintain and oversee financial records such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Track and document project expenditures, ensuring cost accounting accuracy.
• Coordinate payroll functions with third-party providers, including timekeeping and employee onboarding.
• Prepare and present financial statements for management review.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly.
• Handle invoices, receipts, and other financial documents efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations, including sales and income taxes.
• Support collections processes through effective communication and follow-up.
• Coordinate with external accountants and other financial professionals as needed.
• Manage office operations, including organizing filing systems and maintaining clerical functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting within a construction or manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience with Quick Books Enterprise is required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
