A Cold Kitchen Chef is responsible for ensuring that all cold kitchen items—such as salads, appetizers, cold starters, charcuterie, and sauces—are prepared and presented to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, while assisting with food cost controls.

What will I be doing?
  • Ensure all cold kitchen items are prepared and presented to a high quality and within company guidelines
  • Supervise cold kitchen staff as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all working areas, ensuring no cross-contamination
  • Prepare all mise-en-place for the cold kitchen and buffet sections
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest queries related to cold kitchen offerings
  • Ensure all ingredients and food items are of high quality and stored correctly
  • Contribute to cost control, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targets
  • Assist other departments as needed and maintain positive working relationships
  • Report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety hazards
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, health & safety, and food safety legislation
  • Promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices
What are we looking for?
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Intermediate food hygiene knowledge and practice
