We're looking for a Reinstatement Operative to join our South West Water contract team based in Castle Canyke, Bodmin.

Location: Castle Canyke, Bodmin

Hours: 45 hours per week across Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis

As a Reinstatement Operative, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team, supporting them in delivering high‑quality surface restoration following water infrastructure works. Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Carrying out quality reinstatement works (tarmac, concrete, paving) that meet HAUC specifications
• Operating plant and machinery safely, including JCB 3CX and compactors
• Implementing traffic management to ensure public and team safety
• Collaborating with excavation teams to meet project deadlines
• Completing digital documentation accurately and efficiently

This role is great for you if:

• You have a full driving licence, and a JCB 3CX or equivalent qualification
• You enjoy practical, hands‑on work in varied environments
• You have a strong commitment to safety and quality standards
• You're a team player who communicates well with colleagues
• You're keen to develop new skills in the utilities sector
