Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client one of the UK's largest producers of pork.

The rate of pay is £12.40 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £18.60 per hour.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:

• 7am to 4:30pm

As a Production Operative at this site, your duties will include:

• Working with the rest of the team on the line to fulfil specification, quantity and time requirements for production.
• Keep up to speed with the production line and work to the standards set by the line manager.
• Fully understand different quality requirements and customer specifications for raw/ sliced/ cooked/ boxed product/ labels etc.
• Visually examine the product for quality, reject any unsuitable product, and bring issues to the attention of the team leader/ production leader/ production controller.

Our ideal Production Operative is comfortable working in chilled or hot temperatures and standing on their feet for long periods of time. You should also be happy to handle uncooked meat.

• Applicants will have basic English skills and be reliable.
• Your own transport is required.
• No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative as full training is provided.
