We have partnered with our client in their search for a C++ Developer to work remotely.
Responsibilitieshigh-caliber Senior C++ Software Engineer specializing in transactional, low-latency API development and cloud-native architecture. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and scaling of our Enterprise Services Platform (ESP)
- Architect & Develop:
Design and implement high-performance, scalable C++ services using modern standards (C++17/20/23). - Cloud-Native Integration:
Deploy and manage microservices within Kubernetes, optimizing for resource efficiency and latency in Azure. - API Leadership:
Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based interfaces using JSON and XML, ensuring seamless data exchange across Lexis Nexis applications. - Full Lifecycle Ownership:
Drive the SDLC from requirements gathering and design through to automated testing, CI/CD deployment, and production monitoring. - Security & Compliance:
Partner with Information Security to implement "Security by Design," ensuring all middleware meets rigorous data protection standards.
- C++ Mastery: 5+ years of professional experience in Object-Oriented C++ development, with a deep understanding of memory management and multi-threading.
- Web Services: 2+ years of experience building and consuming distributed web services (REST/SOAP).
- Data Systems:
Proficiency with Relational Databases (MySQL, Sybase) and an understanding of No
SQL/Big Data integration. - Linux/Unix Expertise:
Strong command of Linux environments, including shell scripting and system-level performance tuning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
