Software Engineer (Mid-Senior level)

Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite (FL or TX)

Contract-to-Hire (W2 or C2C)

The Snr Software Engineer participates in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation and testing the current monitoring application stack. They work closely with the Application Architects, Product Owners, and other Software Engineers. Providing mentoring and leadership to Jnr Software Engineers and advising/contributing in generating and maintaining software development standards. They will work in a fast-paced environment with a distributed team to where culture and communication are key to delivery of quality.

Primary responsibilities include strategic implementing efficient and robust code. Providing insight and guidance based on extensive experience and judgment, the Snr Software Engineer assesses the potential and practicality of these solutions in implementing the design to meet company objectives.

• Develop integrated solutions that enhance, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications across the enterprise.
• Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to understand, assist, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Play a key role in mentoring Jnr Engineers, guiding them towards growth and excellence.
• Assist in Architectural decisions, identifying buy vs build for technology implementations
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including development, operations, quality assurance and security, to streamline and optimize processes.
• Provide guidance to development teams to improve performance and operability of the solutions they develop.
• As appropriate, they may liaison with external vendors to coordinate code development and acceptance.
• Assess, Coordinate, execute, and troubleshoot software programs and applications.
• Oversee the configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
• Utilize past experiences and effective communication skills to collaborate with Product Owners, and peers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, always willing to contribute and learn.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with expertise across multiple technologies, platforms, and designs.
  Backend focus – Node.js
• Experience with Cloud Platforms
  - GCP or AWS
• Experience in API and UI (nice to have)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT/Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
